Lives of Fairy Tales

This collection is currently in progress and takes inspiration from fairy tales as told by the Brothers Grimm and Angela Carter. The places and objects are comfortingly familiar as they represent moments from stories that we know so well, whilst the use of dramatic lighting creates an uneasy sense of the unknown. These created spaces have a high degree of detail and yet there is something dreamlike and intangible, suggestive of a stylised stage set.
